Case Study

...outwardly “has it all together”. She is ambitious, family oriented, and has a very supportive circle of “sister friends”. Client B however, sometimes struggles with boundaries and saying “no” to others without feeling compelled to provide explanations. Therapist has been engaging with Client B on a weekly to bi-weekly basis in assertive trainings. Through Client B’s individualized treatment plan, Client B has been able to establish and maintain healthy new boundaries with those in her circle. She engages in insightful conversations more often than not that she uses as guides for daily social interactions. She has conveyed that she is loving on herself more, seeing people and situations for who and what they are, and she is more intentional about everything she does.
